The Hatters completed their North London double visit inside four days with a spirited performances at the Emirates ending in a two nil defeat. With expectations low and Luton as big a price as 20-1 to win the game, Robbie will have been relieved to return to Luton with no further injuries.
In the first half we looked in trouble on the right with the Fred / Townsend axis not providing much cover defensively. In the second half Robbie switched it up and it all worked a lot better. Fred bombed forward and put in some useful crosses. Alfie also got in good areas but unfortunately we lacked the bodies in the box.
Our 18 consecutive games of scoring in the Premier League came to an end against a side who have only let in four goals since the start of 2024.
Back to the Kenny on Saturday for a huge game against Bournemouth.
