Bolton 1 Luton Town 2 – Upset Avoided as Hatters Set Up Toffees Clash

Impressive performance this from Luton Town as they went a cold, snowy night in Bolton and secured the win that sets up a 4th round clash with Everton in ten days time.

Robbie named a strong side although the Hatters fell behind to an early goal. Typical of the spirit shown all season, it took precisely four minutes for Town to equalise through a sharply taken finish from Tahith Chong.

There were a number of chances for either side but eventually Chiedozie Ogbene won the game with a close range finish from a Morris pull back.

Luton remain undefeated in 2024.

Everton then in the cup on Saturday 27th January, before the Premier League continues with Brighton at home on Tuesday night.
