Luton 2 Oxford 2 – Lucky To Escape With A Point

Goal celebrations

An incredible game at the Kenny where Tomas Kaminski getting man of the match tells you all you need to know. A very generous ref and our keeper kept us from a hiding.

Against a newly promoted side who hadn’t even gained a single point away.

One team clearly looked well coached and organised.

And it wasn’t Luton.

Plus points. Mengi immense in the first half. Krauss goal and assist. Brown’s energy.

Negatives… too many to mention but whatever instructions Liam Walsh was given as he entered the pitch as sub. To see red seconds later with a ridiculous challenge.

This was our last “easy game” in a remarkably easy start to the season against teams mainly in the bottom half that has gone spectacularly wrong.

Credit to Oxford. They played superbly.
