Luton Town 0 Norwich City 1 – Relegation Concerns Grow

Rob not walking away

A game that could have gone either way didn’t in the end go our way. But after recent fortunate wins over Stoke and particularly Derby, maybe we were due a home reverse. Norwich had chances, Luton dominated the second half, and hit the post twice, but unlike the previous two home games, there was no late comeback this time.

Rob took a truncated walk round the pitch at full time and it wasn’t to universal acclaim or rancour. Fair to say supporters are split. This correspondent still puts the perilous situation this season firmly down to the dodgy recruitment. Rob’s style and methods work best with the attacking wing backs, and quality in the centre.

For whatever reason, he has not been given the players or the backing to kick on from last season’s heights. And instead we’ve handed out big contracts and big wages to players frankly no other club was seriously interested in. No point listing their names, it is fairly obvious.

On to QPR now on Monday night who looked pretty good earlier today in beating Watford 3-1.
