Luton Town 1 Brentford 5 – Horror Show As Bees Sting Hard

ross was shut down

The worst performance for not just this season but several others came at a time when we needed it the most.

Town looked disjointed and the surprising returns for Lokonga Osho and Mengi didn’t work in our favour.

It was the Brentford injury comebacks who showed their quality with Pinnock outstanding. And in fast man Mbeumo they had a player Luton couldn’t live with.

No exaggeration to say it could have been ten. Kaminski was the only candidate for Town man of the match although the sponsors bizarrely gave it to Osho.

Big gaps between the wing backs and our three centre backs ruthlessly exploited.

But enough of the negative

A lot of pundits thought we would see this sort of result on multiple weeks.

To say we’ve only seen it once this season – twice if you consider Sheffield at home – and you see the effort Rob and his side have made week in, week out.

And Brentford were on form. Their quality players performed.

All is not lost.

But a point – ideally three – is needed from a trip to Wolverhampton.

We go again
