Luton Town 2 Stoke City 1 – Signs Of Hope?

elijah scores again

A difficult game to call. Were Luton much improved or Stoke just terrible? Three wins in 16 for the away side tells one story. But after Town went behind early to the man they tried to sign, it was pretty much all Luton. A Carlton header and a clever finish from Elijah did the job.

A great performance from Victor who was operating as an emergency left back in Alfie’s continued absence.

A word too from Jordan Clark’s quality deliveries from set pieces. His corner was put on a plate for the equalising goal.

Not a single sub used for Luton for the first time in almost 10 years. A curiosity.

A trip to Blackburn next and another attempt to try and turn the tide of this terrible away record.
