A difficult game to watch this as I was Down Under at the time so not only was everything upside down, it was also the middle of the night.
But what a performance, a cracker of a goal from Teden Mengi – the finish of a striker. And some very inconsistent refereeing. Our back three dealt with all the long balls Millwall threw at us. And on the two occasions the defence was seriously breached, super Tomas Kaminski came to the rescue.
A good full debut for Liam Walsh who appears to be one of those Welshmen who likes a scrap. Reece Burke got the Sky man of the match and hard to argue. If that fella could stay fit he’d be a top tier player.
Wednesday next. On Saturday. Would you believe it, the match is being staged at the right time for once. 3pm on a Saturday.
