13 defeats in 14 away games, as Town lost the big one after ref Kitchen couldn’t stand the heat and bottled his first big decision. Nordas steaming through taken out by a tackle half way down the leg… red not shown.
Up the other end and Kaminski and Andersen hesitated, Watford player arrived first, penalty. You’ve seen them given.
Freedom of the half for Watford’s second, good positive running, cross into the box and they’re queuing up to tap it in. Andersen booked late in the half, didn’t reappear. Looked a shadow of the player he apparently was for his previous club. Makosso came on for his debut second half and looks a much better shout.
Naismith went down to the hamstring curse that Alfie had a couple of weeks ago and wasn’t even in the squad.
Nakamba and Nordas hooked at half time. More possession second half. But no quality from the ball in.
Honourable mention for Jones who was superb. Missed a couple of good chances but wasn’t afraid to run at men, and often appeared to be the only Luton player willing to take on the challenge.
Another fiasco of an appearance from Baptiste. Just like Wednesday night, went down almost as soon as he had come on. Disrupted the plan, this time he went off. Whoever signed him given his injury record needs to spend more time on the data.
