West Ham 3 Luton Town 1 – Return To Championship Confirmed

For the fifth time this season Luton led at half time only to lose the game after Sambi Lokonga had given Hatters fans worldwide at least 50 minutes of hope.

Ross Barkley was forced off just before half time, and the match had echos of Liverpool away. The home side repelled until an injury reshuffle, and it was the introduction of Clicker Clark in East London that unfortunately saw the equaliser as his loose ball was seized on by Bowen which led to the goal.

One win in 16 tells its own story, and when we gather on Sunday at home to Fulham for the Premier League finale, all supporters will reflect on a momentous season. Never to be forgotten. With perhaps five key incidents.

But those are reflections for another day.
